Glycolic Peels
Pure Med Spa offers Medical Grade Chemical peels as quick and convenient ways to enhance appearance and self confidence, and get a healthy glow with little or no downtime.
Chemical Peels have been used for decades to revitalize and resurface skin. They involve applying a chemical solution to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reveal a younger, clearer, more radiant complexion. Chemical peels, also known as "Lunchtime Peels" are traditionally performed on the face, hands, neck, back and shoulders, legs and other problem areas to treat fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and skin discoloration.
If you're considering a peel – or any other treatment, including Botox, Restylane and Laser Hair Removal – we invite you to schedule a free consultation
Glycolic peels
is a safe process that removes a micro thin top layer of skin. Removal of these damaged cells stimulates cell division that results in plumper, healthier, newer cells. The *glycolic peel* procedure:- Smoothes and softens the skin
- Diminishes fine lines
- Decreases acne
- Evens out discoloration
- Increases moisture retention
The result is a wonderful appearance of glowing, healthier and more youthful skin!
For optimal results, peels are performed weekly over a period of six weeks. Most people notice a change in skin appearance and texture right away. Improvement continues over the course of the treatments revealing fresher, younger skin. Mild peels usually take about 20 minutes, making the procedure convenient and accessible at any time of the day, even the lunch hour!
Peels begin at a strength of 30% glycolic and increase in percentage over the course of your treatment up to 70%. Your Pure Med Spa consultant will determine the right program for your skin. Generally, a series of three to six treatments are required for optimum results. These are spaced two to three weeks apart. The results of the peel are quickly evident*. * This form of skin rejuvenation is highly recommended for all types of skin, especially mature skin that has been sun-damaged and is beginning to show signs of aging.
